Florida State University at Panama City

Florida State Panama City – Panama City, FL

Florida State Panama City, commonly known as FSU Panama City, started life in the 1970s as a fairly simple learning center with sixty-five students and a staff of two. The Florida Legislature turned control of this learning center over to Florida State University in the fall of 1982. They soon realized that the minimal staff and facilities were not going to suffice, and they set about revitalizing the campus and the staff.

Today 1,500 students call FSU Panama City home with 15 undergraduate and 19 graduate programs to chose from including computer engineering, accounting, elementary education, nursing, and many others. Panama City FSU offers a full schedule of daytime and nighttime classes in order to meet the diverse needs of its student body. The university is dedicated to keeping the student to faculty ratio low. They even help some of their faculty to commute from the main campus over 100 miles away.

Tuition is about $2,836 for in-state residents and $15,967 for out-of-state residents. Where else can you go to school a school located directly on the North Bay only about 3 miles from the Gulf of Mexico?
